Description
Sail Away is the fourth solo album by the British singer and songwriter Dave Pope, released in the UK on Myrrh Records in 1978, a division of Word. Re-issued the following year in the US by Myrrh, re-titled It Only Goes To Show and featuring new cover art. The album was produced by Cliff Richard. Featuring Bryn Haworth on guitar and a rhythm section consisting of Mo Foster and Graham Jarvis on bass and drums respectively. Background vocals by Dave Pope and Cliff Richard as well as Richards’ own backing singers trio – Stu Calver, Tony Rivers, and John Perry.
Featuring a cover of Bryn Haworth’s “We’re All One”, as well as songs written by Cliff Richard, Chris Eaton, Lesley Duncan, and Herb Pedersen, plus four songs written by John Daniels.
