Description
The Worship Album is a worship project released on Star Song Records in 1982 under the moniker Church In The City, distributed by The Benson Company. Also released in the UK on Kingsway Music. The album was recorded in 1980 by Brian Tankersley and Paul Mills at Rivendell Sound Recorders in Pasadena, Texas; with Fletch Wiley of Sonlight fame producing. Mixed by Tankersley. (According to the March 29, 1980 issue of Record World magazine, “This summer Star Song will release its first worship and praise album The Worship Album“.)
The album was followed-up in 1983 with an album simply entitled Worship II arranged and produced by Fletch Wiley.
The Father is seeking you to be a true worshiper. Jesus Christ said it: “A time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” (John 4:23)
Here one congregation seeks to minister to God in true worship and invites you to join in this, the Christian’s highest call.
