Description

Allting har sin tid is the fourth solo album by the Swedish singer and songwriter Börge Ring, released on the Swedish gospel label Signatur in 1979. The album was recorded during March, May, June, and August 1979 by Boje Lundberg at PRIM Studio in Stockholm, Sweden; with Peter Sandwall of Choralerna fame producing. Tracks arranged by the band. Vocals arranged by Peter Sandwall. All songs written by Börge Ring except “Franciskus Solsång” featuring lyrics by Olov Hartman, “Ararats Blues (Gubben Noak)” by Skånska Lasse, and “Har du visor min vän” by Bengt Ahlfors, as well as the Ralph McTell classic “Streets of London” (entitled “Genom gatorna på Söder” in Swedish, featuring lyrics translated by Börge Ring).

Featuring Börge Ring on acoustic guitar and vocals, backed by producer Peter Sandwall on acoustic and electric piano; Hasse Hansson on organ; Jan Kling on tenor saxophone, clarinet, and Chinese flute; Staffan Linder on acoustic and electric guitars; Backa Hans Eriksson on bass; Per Lindvall on drums; and Thomas “Opa” Opava on percussion. Background vocals provided by Agneta Gilstig, Lena Ericsson, Peggy Ring, and Peter Lundblad.
