Feed the Hungry Heart is the ninth studio album by the British singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Adrian Snell, released in the UK on Myrrh Records in 1984, a division of Word. Also released in the US by Myrrh the following year. The album was recorded by Johnny Schinas at Redan Recorders in London, England; June 1984, with Jon Miller producing. All songs written or co-written by Adrian Snell.
In June 1983 Adrian Snell had signed a recording contract with Word Records and a new surge of creative energy resulted in this album, his first release for the Word imprint Myrrh Records.
I have been privileged to sing to many people all over the world. I have made many dear friends and the memories are rich and precious. This album is for them. Thank you for all you have given me, and see you soon!
In the thousands of miles I have travelled I have listened to and been inspired by much wonderful music. Especially I want to say “Thank you for the music” to Dire Straits, Van Morrison, Vangelis, Donna Summer, Keith Green, Randy Crawford, Michael Jackson, Sakamoto.
