Description
The self-titled, final album by the British pop group New Beginnings was released on Myrrh Records in 1984, a division of Word. The album was recorded December 1983 by Nigel Pegrum at PACE Studios in Milton Keynes, England; with Pegrum and Vince Cross producing. Mixed during February 1984. Brass and strings arranged by Cross. All songs written by band members Steve Bassett (lyrics) and Bernie and Sharon Armstrong (music).
New Beginnings was a four-piece group made up of two couples, Sue and Steve Bassett (on vocals and bass respectively) and Sharon and Bernie Armstrong (on keyboards/vocals and guitar/vocals respectively). Later in the decade, they would all become more or less involved in the best British Christian pop band of the ’80s, Heartbeat.
