Songs in the Key of Awe is a studio album by the American singer and songwriter Billy Sprague, Kickstarter-funded and self-released in April 2015. “I Still Need a Savior” features Phil Keaggy on guitar.

This is the seventh release from CCM veteran Billy Sprague and is his first album for more than 20 years and here returns with his familiar pop-style worship songs, with some rock influences. The song «Life Begins Now» opens the album with electric guitars, synths, drums and bass guitar. «Overflow» starts with piano and percussion then builds to a rock ballad which is sung by daughter Willow. Like all of the songs on the album, it features worshipful lyrics as it builds more and more until the chorus where strings are added along with choir vocals. Sprague movingly sings, «Make us one for a reason/ Make us one Lord Make us one» while «The Goodness Of The Lord» is a more gospel-styled song with a choir offering some lovely harmonies and an organ adding to the sound. This is an enjoyable 14-track album and a welcome return to the award-winning singer/songwriter. [Philip Laing, Cross Rhythms, January 2016]
