Hoppets Horisont

Description

The self-titled, sole album by the Swedish west coast band Hoppets Horisont, fronted by singer/songwriter Bengt Johansson, was released on the Swedish gospel label Signatur in 1982. The album was recorded during June 1982 by Conny Ebegård at Europa Film in Stockholm, Sweden; with Peter Sandwall producing. Mixed August 1982 at Mastersound Recording Studios in Skurup, Sweden. All songs written, or co-written, by Bengt Johansson.

The band, formed by Bengt Johansson, was originally named Lekebergstrion (a trio that released an album in 1970), and later on Hoppets Horisont. The band changed its name once more, and as Terra Nova released a final album in 1985, entitled Blindbockslek. (Bengt Johansson continued as a solo artist.)
