Description
Prince of Peace is the sophomore and final album by the Swedish pop/rock band Ellen B, released in the UK on Edge Records in 1988, and as well in the US on Alarma Records the following year, distributed by The Benson Company. (Thanks to Delrose White and Charlie Norman who helped us with the translations.) (The original Swedish version of the album, entitled Två, was released on the Swedish gospel label Cantio Records in 1987.) The album was recorded June-July 1987 by Micke Lyander at Sandkvie Studios in Gotland, Sweden; with band member Kenneth Eriksson of Dynamis and Negussie/Eriksson fame producing. Mixed by Christer Sjöblom and Eriksson at Supreme Studio in Stockholm, Sweden.
Ellen B features Lasse Nilsson Wihk on vocals, Robert Wirensjö on keyboards (formerly of Johan Wahlström Band), Lasse Olsson on guitar, Kenneth Eriksson on bass and vocals, and Per Hedtjärn on drums and percussion. (The line-up for Ellen B’s second album introduced a new keyboard player and drummer, Wirensjö and Hedtjärn respectively.)
