Hymns from the Heart is the seventh studio album, as well as the second gospel album, by the American singer and songwriter Johnny Cash, released on Columbia Records in April 1962. The album was recorded February 28 – April 27, 1961 at Radio Recorders in Hollywood, California; and at Bradley Film & Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee; with Don Law and Frank Jones producing. This album has a more traditional hymn/gospel feel than Cash’s previous hymns album, Hymns by Johnny Cash (1959).
