Description
Fylt av liv is the debut album by the Norwegian singer Elisabeth Ødegård (later of Oslo Gospel Choir fame), released on the Norwegian gospel label Lu-Mi in 1984. The album was recorded at Scanax Studio, BEL Studio, Ny-York Studio, and Zigma Lydstudio in Oslo, Norway; with Tore W. Aas of Oslo Gospel Choir fame producing. Arranged by Tore W. Aas and Rolf Løvland. Mixed by Sverre E. Henriksen and Tore W. Aas at Scanax Studio. Tracks written by Roland Utbult (A1, A3, A4), Per Erik Hallin (A2), Arnold Børud (track B2), Jim Weber (track B4), with track A5 co-written by Elisabeth Ødegård, Tore W. Aas, and Arnold Børud, track B5 co-written by Peter Sandwall and Lars Mørlid, and tracks B1 and B3 co-written by Tore W. Aas and Jan Magne Linnsund.
Featuring Elisabeth Ødegård on lead vocals, backed by a session band consisting of Geir Langslet, Per Kolstad, and Tore W. Aas on keyboards; Sigurd Køhn on saxophone; Ola Slåen and Svein Dag Hauge on guitar; Geir Holmsen and Rolf Graf on bass; and Per Hillestad on drums (Kolstad, Langslet, Hauge, Graf, and Hillestad of Lava fame – the premier Norwegian mainstream west coast/fusion band during the 1980s). Backing vocals provided by Arnold Børud, Håkon Iversen, and Kari Gjærum. As well featuring harmony vocals by Roland Utbult (track A3) and Kjell Fjalsett (tracks A5 and B3).
