What’s the Noise? – b/w “When the Serpent Rules” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the Swedish synth-pop band Walk on Water, released on the Swedish mainstream label The Record Station in 1989, a division of BMG (catalogue number TATI 32). Both tracks taken from the band’s self-titled full-length album, released on The Record Station the same year, produced and arranged by Kaj Erixon and the band. Both tracks written by the band.

The video for “What’s the Noise?” won a Swedish Grammis in the category Music Video of the Year (“Årets musikvideo”), 1989.
