Description
Small Things is an album by the British singer Nia, independently released in the UK on Global Music Ministries in 2002.
I’m running out of superlatives to describe the continuing stream of quality music emanating from arguably the UK Christian music scene’s busiest female singer/songwriter. In between tours of the USA and the UK and various mission trips and relief expeditions to various parts of the globe, Nia manages to find time to sit down each year and produce some cracking music, and ‘Small Things’ is no exception. This time she’s enlisted the musical skills of John Pantry on three songs on this 11-track CD, renewing a relationship which goes back to 1986, when John produced her first album for Ears & Eyes. The rest of the music was written with long-time collaborator Mal Pope, and Nigel Hopkins’ sure hand is on the production tiller. The first big song from this one is «You See, I See», but the rest of the tracks will repay your close attention. Guaranteed mucho airplay on UCB, and unreservedly recommended.
