Psalms Alive! 2 is a American multi-artist praise & worship project credited to The Maranatha Singers, released on Maranatha! Music in 1984, distributed by Word. Also released in the UK. The album was recorded by Chris Taylor at Whitefield Studios in Santa Ana, California; with Tom Howard and Bill Batstone producing. Mixed by Bill Schnee at Bill Schnee Studio in North Hollywood, California. Choral arrangements by Stan Endicott (who also conducted the choir). Strings arranged and conducted by Tom Howard and Stan Endicott. All songs written, or co-written, by Tom Howard and Bill Batstone.
Featuring the Calvary Chapel Worship Community, with solo vocals provided by Blanca Vega, Darrell Earnhardt, and Meg Dacut (track A5), Bill Batstone (track A4), and Tom Coomes (track B3), with narration by pastor Chuck Smith. Featuring a session band consisting of Tom Howard on piano and synthesizer; Phil Kristiansen on Fender Rhodes electric piao; Hadley Hockensmith on guitar and bass; David Coy and Bill Batstone on bass; and John Mehler on drums; with Kenneth Nash and Alex MacDougall providing percussion.
