Glenn Garrett – It Is Written

Description

It Is Written is the fourth album by the American singer and songwriter Glenn Garrett, released on Greentree Records in 1980, distributed by The Benson Company. The album was produced by Brown Bannister. All songs written by Glenn Garrett except track B1 co-written with K. Garrett and Brown Bannister and track B4 co-written with Randy Bugg and Sonny Lallerstedt.

Blending a variety of styles and stories, Glenn Garrett seems to be one of the more prolific writers to emerge from the church in these days of trite-but-true music-makers. Songs range from the gentle «Lord Of All» to an nearly new wavish «I Had A Reason». Jesus, the man and the Christ as seen through the eyes of his disciples is the focal point of three cuts – «Forty Days», «Born Again» and «Stephen».

A bright, pleasant, potentially habit-forming album.
