Love Revolution is the tenth studio album by the American vocal quartet NewSong, released on Benson Music Group in 1997. The album was produced by Paul Mills, Chris Harris, Rodney Mills, and Mike Clark. Mixed by Rodney Mills at Southern Tracks in Atlanta, Georgia. (Mixed in Stereo Compatible Circle Surround Sound.)
NewSong is Eddie Carswell, Billy Goodwin, Leonard Ahlstrom, Scotty Wilbanks, and Russ Lee.
This American team’s last outing ‘People Get Ready‘ was a big hit Stateside and this set could be just as much a favourite with US Christian radio. Occupying that blue eyed soul-cum-pop ground once held by the Imperials, the group’s three songwriters Leonard Ahlstrom, Eddie Carswell and Russ Lee write hooky songs which probe spiritual truth with pristine clarity while their front man emotes and purrs like a black soulman.
