Description

The self-titled debut album by the Swiss pop/rock band Marchstei was released on Philips in 1982, manufactured by PolyGram Records Switzerland. The album was produced, recorded, and mixed by Mark Heard. Arranged by Mark Heard and Marchstei.

Featuring Peter “Päsche” Läderach on vocals and acoustic and electric guitars; Alex Disch on acoustic (Bechstein) and electric piano (Yamaha Cp-80, Fender Rhodes), synthesizer (Roland), organ (Lowrey), and vocals; Jean-Daniel v. Lerber on acoustic and electric guitars, percussion, and vocals; Martin “Martino” Kurz on bass and organ (with Markus “Mäke” Meier sitting in on bass on tracks A5 and B4); and Christian “Chrigel” Benz on drums, percussion, and congas.
