Painting Pictures of Egypt [CD single]

Description

Painting Pictures of Egypt is a promo CD-single by the American singer and songwriter Sara Groves, released on INO Records in November 2000. The track was taken from an extended version of Groves’ independently released full-length album Conversations produced by Nate Sabin, to be released on INO Records the following year. The track was written by Sara Groves.

INO Records’ 2001 re-issue of Conversations included two bonus tracks recorded by Tom Laune at Darkhorse Studios in Franklin and mixed at Laune’s Pad, with “Painting Pictures of Egypt” being one of those tracks (“The Word” being the other, as well released as a CD promo single). INO Records also released a “Special Limited Edition pre-release enhanced CD” with the enhanced portion containing a music video for “Painting Pictures of Egypt”.
