Hooray for Now is the debut album by the American alternative rock band Viva Voce (husband-and-wife Kevin & Anita Robinson), released on Cadence Communications in July 1998, manufactured and distributed by Warner Alliance, a division of Warner Bros. Records, a Time Warner Company. The album was recorded during the early months of 1998 by Marc Chevalier, assisted by Chris Grainger, at The Whitehouse and The Carport in Nashville, Tennessee; with David Mardis producing. Mixed by David Mardis, Marc Chevalier, Russ Long, and Viva Voce. Written and arranged by Viva Voce.
Viva Voce is Anita Robinson on guitar and vocals and Kevin Robinson on drums and guitar. The album also features Wade Jaynes of Chagall Guevara fame on bass and with Matt Slocum of Sixpence None the Richer fame providing cello.
