Crossing – Lyset

Description

Lyset is the third album by the Norwegian youth choir (“Ten Sing Choir”) Crossing, released on the Norwegian label Forum in 1972. The album was recorded and mixed by Jan Erik Kongshaug, Nils Bjarne Kvam, and Bjørn Lillehagen at Arne Bendiksen Studio in Oslo, Norway; with Oddvar Sanne producing. Choir conducted by Erik Hillestad.

The album track “Mennesket og lyset” was later included on the multi-artist sampler Lukk opp kirkens dører: A selection of Norwegian Christian Jazz, Psych, Funk and Folk 1970-1980 released in Norway on Plastic Strip in April 2011.
