Jesus is the Light of My Life is a contemporary gospel album by the American gospel and soul singer Laura Lee, released on Myrrh Records in 1983, a division of Word. Also released by A&M Records. The album was recorded and mixed by Bill Cantrell at American Music Recording Studios in Memphis, Tennessee; with Al Green producing, co-produced by Laura Lee. Strings arranged by Gerry Peters.

Laura Lee is backed by a session band consisting of Johnny Brown on keyboards, Gerry Peters on organ, Angelo Earl on lead guitar, Ray Griffin on bass, and Kim Dancy on drums. Backing vocals provided by Debra Carter, Harvey Jones, Linda Jones, as well as Laura Lee.
