Here With Me / A Voice in the Night [7-inch split single]

Description

A 7-inch double A-side split-single was released by Chapel Lane Productions in 1981 featuring “Here With Me”, b/w “A Voice in the Night”, by the Chapel Lane signed British artists Sheila Walsh and Barratt Band respectively (featuring two catalogue numbers: WS 103A and CS 101A, respectively). “Here With Me” was taken from Sheila Walsh’s full-length album Future Eyes released on Chapel Lane the same year, produced and recorded by Paul Cobbold at Chapel Lane Studios in Hereford, England. The track on the flip-side, “A Voice in the Night”, was taken from Barratt Band’s full-length album Playing in the City released on Chapel Lane the same year, recorded by Cobbold at Chapel Lane Studios with Norman Barratt and Vic Coppersmith producing. “Here With Me” was co-written by Graham Kendrick and Chris Rolinson, while “A Voice In The Night” was written by Norman Barratt.

7-inch Vinyl Single tracklist:

Side A. Sheila Walsh – “Here With Me” – 3:35
Side B. Barratt Band – “A Voice In The Night” – 6:08

Note: Housed in a plain white die-cut sleeve. (Confusingly, the previous year Chapel Lane Productions released a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by Sheila Walsh featuring the same A-side track, “Here With Me”, with “Burn On” on the flip-side. The 1980 single features the same catalogue number as the Sheila Walsh side of the 1981 single, WS 103.)
