Description
Morning Star is the third album by the Anglo-American pop duo Dave & Dana (husband and wife, Dave Price and Dana Lee Price), released on Grapevine in 1978. Also manufactured and distributed by Pilgrim Records in Canada. The album was engineered by Colin Owen at The Old Smithy Recording Studio in Worcestershire, England; with Sue McClellan of Parchment fame producing. Strings arranged by Dave Anfield, played by the Dave Anfield Strings.
Featuring Dana Lee Price on lead vocals and Dave Price on guitar, backed by Dave Anfield on piano, Colin Owen on Clavinet, Spud Spurling on bass, and Pete Thompson on drums and percussion, with Hugh Thomas sitting in on saxophone and flute.
