Breakaway, Praise 2 is a multi-artist praise & worship project released on Joyful Heart Music in 1993, a division of Frontline Music Group, distributed by FMG Distribution. The album was recorded by Peter Jacobs at Digital Domain Studios in Irvine, California; and at Westpark Sound in Nashville, Tennessee; with Peter & Hanneke Jacobs producing. Mixed by Chris Taylor at Crossroad Studios in Santa Ana, California; and by Dave Jahnsen at Asaph Studios in Santa Ana, California. Arranged by Peter Jacobs.
Featuring vocals from artists such as First Call, Kim Boyce, Jon Gibson, and Scott Wenzel of Whitecross fame, backed by a session band consisting of producer Peter Jacobs on keyboards; J. Hans Ives, Tim Nienhuis, and Lanny Cordola on guitars (with the latter also providing bass); and Louie Weaver of Petra fame on drums. Sequencing by Peter Jacobs and Scott Blackwell.
Breakaway, Praise 2 is the second installment of this three-part series (Breakaway, Praise 1 and Breakaway, Praise 3 being the first and the third installments, released in 1992 and 1994 respectively).
