Description

High on Life is an album by the American singer and songwriter Charles McPheeters, released on Landmark Records in 1971.

In addition to Charles McPheeters telling the McPheeters Story, the album features one song written by McPheeters (“Bad News Blues”) as well as four covers including “Hymn”, a song written by Noel Paul Stookey and recorded on his 1971-album, Paul and, and “Would You Believe”, a song written by Mike Johnson and recorded on the sole album by his band The Exkursions, their self-titled album released in 1971 (later re-recorded on Johnson’s 1973 solo album, Velvet Prince).
