Description

Voyages is an album by the American garage rock band Ark, self-released in 1978 in a tiny edition of 100 copies. The album was recorded by Scott Williams during July and August of 1978 with band member Charles Moses producing. Mixed by Bruce Freeman at Sundown Sound Studios in Greenville, South Carolina; September 1978. All songs arranged by the band. Ark features Eddie Herold (vocals, guitars, harp, recorder, zither), Charles Moses (bass, acoustic guitar), and Lee Henderson (drums, percussion).

Monster top 5 US psychedelic garage LP. Eerie folkrock Doors sounding spookers w/a smattering of D.R. Hooker lounge/mind psychedelia thrown in, great drifty acid jams, desert wind effects, air raid sirens…all the right moves & attitude. [Paul Major]
