Description
Fork in the Road is the debut album by the American singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Ken Medema, released on Word Records in 1972. Orchestrated by Kurt Kaiser.
I rocking version of “Don’t Play The Game” was later recorded by Dick Hoopes on his album In a Maze of Grace, while East of the Altar covered “On A Day Like Today” on their self-titled 1977 album.
‘Fork in the Road’ is the very first recording of my music to be released. It was 1971, I was 28 and full of that twenty something passion to change my world. I was longing for a church that dared to be honest about life and move beyond the routines of religious life. This collection reflects both that discontent and the delight of knowing that one is walking in the company of the one who creates, heals, forgives, and changes hearts forever. [Ken Medema]
