Description

Running for Jesus is the sole album by the American gospel singer Madeline Manning Jackson, released on NewPax Records in 1976, distributed by Word. The album was recorded by Terry Jamison and Warren Peterson at Golden Voice Studios in South Pekin, Illinois; and at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Jamison producing, except two tracks – A1 and B2 – written and produced by Gary S. Paxton. Mixed by Jamison, Peterson and Bill O. Strings arranged by Dick Garretson, and horns arranged by Buddy Skipper. Madeline Manning Jackson covers a couple of songs written by Danniebelle Hall as well as three songs by Andrae Crouch (who is also listed among the keyboard players featured on the album).
