Description

A Guitar Christmas Album is an instrumental Christmas album by the American guitarist John Darnall, released on Maranatha! Music in 1991. The album was produced and arranged by John Darnall.

This album is very much in the spirit of Maranatha’s Colours line, with keyboard and percussion providing support for Darnall’s guitars. For wont of better description, I’d label it jazz, although elements of pop and country are as evident in the mix. Subtle Celtic and ethnic touches also add spice to a few selections.
