Pictured above is some of the most popular artists in 1988 signed to Myrrh Records, the main contemporary label of Word Records, the largest CCM record company in the world. Among the artists we find progressive rock artists like Steve Taylor and The Choir, west coast wonder Russ Taff, R&B-artist Philip Baily of Earth Wind and Fire fame, Euro pop oriented artists like Sheila Walsh, David Meece, The Imperials and Bash’n’ the Code, as well as handful of Christian rockers who survived the 70’s: Mylon LeFevre, ex-Petra vocalist Greg X. Volz, Phil Keaggy, as well as former Solid Rock Records rocker Randy Stonehill.
