Whisper, sub-titled Songs of Love and Surrender, is the third and final solo album by the American singer and songwriter Bob Cull, released on Asaph Records in 1991, the Music Ministry of Calvary Chapel, distributed by Frontline Distribution. The album was recorded and mixed at Asaph Studio in Costa Mesa, California; with Bob Cull and Duane Clark producing.

Sometimes we can best hear God’s whisper only when, like Jacob, we have been wrestled to the ground and made helpless – and He has our full attention. Many things can bring us to that place: profound doubt – personal failure – over-whelming loneliness – paralyzing fear – or a yearning to draw near to Him and just listen to His heart.
These songs have been born out of times like those – as were many of the Psalms. Through the worst times of my life, God has always shown Himself faithful to me. He has revealed His mighty, loving heart, and has brought me closer to Himself. And, like the Psalmists, I have expressed it in true worship: a deeper devotion to Him and a more complete surrender to His will.
My prayer is that these songs will bring you closer to His heart as well – close enough to hear His whisper. [Bob Cull]
