Description
Hymns is an album by the Norwegian-American singer Evie (Evie Tornquist Karlsson), released on Word Records in 1983. The album was recorded and mixed by Chris Taylor and Derald “Derri” Daugherty at Whitefield Studios in Santa Ana, California; with Pelle Karlsson producing for White Field Music. Arranged by Stan Endicott.
Evie is backed by a session band featuring Tom Keene and Phil Kristensen om keyboards, Hadley Hockensmith on guitar (with Al Perkins providing steel guitar), Dave Coy on bass, Ron Tutt on drums, and Alex MacDougall on percussion. Background vocals by Evie and Pelle Karlsson as well as Gene Andrew.
